These scarves are custom made and cannot be returned if you measure your pup wrong, since every dog's neck size is different and it would be hard to resell the exact size your ordered. So please be sure and measure carefully with a flexible tape measure against your pet's neck so when I add the extra 2.5 inches to give room to slide over their face, it will not be too tight. The most important thing to remember when measuring is if your dog is fluffy or has longer hair than a beagle, you need to add 2 inches to your order size. So if you measure a 6 inch neck, and your dog has long hair , order an 8 inch. Then, for example: if you order an 8 inch neck size it will come approximately 10.5 inches in diamater to allow room to slip over head.
